Membership Application Overview

 

Membership in the 100 Black Men of Prince George's County, Inc. is a serious commitment and requires an investment of your personal time, talents and finances. We are looking for candidates who are interested in serving and uplifting the Prince George's County youth, their families, and the community at-large.

 

     The 100 Black Men of Prince Georges County, Inc. is an organization made up of educated and achievement-minded men with one main shared goal - empowering our community!  All candidates must be dedicated to serving on one of our four pillar committees: Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness or Economic Empowerment. The organization wants candidates of the highest caliber and to ensure that we are selecting men that are of the highest integrity, our membership process involves a criminal background check, interviews with the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors, and other steps in order to ensure prospective members will positively contribute to the organizaton's mission.

 

     We conduct intake of new members four times a year. The membership process takes approximately 90 days to complete and all applications must be received by the intake close date.
